Flat / Matte
Hides imperfections best. Use on ceilings and low-traffic walls. Not washable.
๐Ÿฅš
Eggshell
Slight sheen. Standard finish for most interior walls. Easy to wipe clean.
โœจ
Satin
Smooth, moderate sheen. More washable. Good for hallways, kitchens, kids' rooms.
๐Ÿ’ก
Semi-Gloss
Shiny, highly washable. Standard for trim, doors, and bathrooms.
๐Ÿชž
Gloss

โ„น๏ธ Quick rule: Higher sheen = more durable and washable, but shows surface imperfections more. Lower sheen = hides imperfections better, but marks more easily.
